New Zealand is becoming a class-based society – the vaccinated and the unvaccinated. When interviewed on the subject of two classes of people with different rights, the Prime Minister was unequivocal “That is what it is.”
Ardern goes on to say “People who are vaccinated will want to know they’re around other vaccinated people.” She seems to be setting up kiwis against kiwis.
Watch her chilling statement here.
This is not the kiwi way. We are one New Zealand, with all citizens being equal. Segregation will undoubtedly create more problems than it solves.
Alex Penk, writing for Kiwiblog puts it succinctly:
“Ring-fencing our unvaccinated neighbours and excluding them from swathes of our common life will create fault-lines running through families, communities, and the nation. The Government’s vaccination mandates are already seeing people lose their livelihoods, and its traffic light scheme limits their freedoms at all levels.”

We believe at New Zealand with two classes of citizens will be disastrous for our nation. So we’ve created the petition ‘Don’t Divide Us” in which we call on the Government to allow the use of COVID rapid antigen testing as an alternative for unvaccinated kiwis. Sign here.
