The American Library Association released a list of the 13 most “challenged” books aimed at teens during 2022, blaming ‘anti-LGBT’ prejudice for what it calls censorship. The problem is that all the books contain sexually explicit content and other offensive & objectionable material. It’s not ‘prejudice’ or ‘anti-LGBT’. It’s about protecting young people from explicit, age-inappropriate, offensive and potentially upsetting material.
