More evidence this week that New Zealand is continuing to reject natural creation, with our government leading the way.
Big changes are imminent to the Births, Deaths, Marriages, and Relationships Registration Act with parents being able to choose how they are defined on their child’s birth certificate.
Minister of Internal Affairs Brooke van Velden says one of the main reasons for this change was to acknowledge same-sex couples.
She says from December this year, parents will be able to choose if they are named as a ‘mother’, ‘father’, or ‘parent’ on the child’s birth certificate. For example, two mums who may both wish to be listed as ‘mother’ on the birth certificate of their child.
The Minister states that this Government believes in freedom of choice for individuals, and she is proud to be delivering this change.
It is very clear that this so-called ‘right leaning’ government is hell bent on continuing the anti-creation and anti-God sentiment which has been growing in momentum in the last few decades.
Not only have recent governments turned its back on God through the secularization of our society in numerous ways, it continues to focus on rejecting God’s creation, the human race, in its natural form.
Like we saw with gay marriage, civil unions were just not enough…the official bastion of marriage between a man and a woman had to be dismantled and made more ‘inclusive’.
Now we are seeing the same with birth certificates. Having a space to name a father and mother is simply not enough and is not inclusive in the eyes of the current government. This despite the fact that the basic, inherent and beautiful features of the natural conception of another human-being rely on a mother and a father.
Unfortunately this government isn’t stopping there.
Currently the debate around surrogacy laws is going through the submissions stage. Again, the plight of same-sex couples are at the forefront of why the changes are being proposed.
Given the aforementioned press release from Brooke Van Velden, it seems the government has already made up its mind on the surrogacy issue as well.
