A Christchurch bar which has banned man-bags in its venue has been labelled as “overtly homophobic”.
As reported on Stuff.co.nz, The Rockpool has defended its dress code rule as it is in place to prevent drugs and weapons being brought in.
Its owner, spoke to a Stuff reporter, and said that the rule was in place to protect patrons and so the bar can meet health and safety obligations.
This obviously has outraged those on the left, some of whom commented in the article saying they had to alter what they wore and how they “expressed themselves”.
They questioned the “archaic and heteronormative dress code norms”.
This is another clear example of the LGBTQI+ mob crying foul in an attempt to pressure a small business into submission, even when it violates other patrons rights to safety.
