McBLOG: The media’s fictional ‘facts’


When claims of criminal activity are being made and then reported in the media, you would expect there to be some level of corroboration, research to ensure its veracity, some physical evidence, at least a report to the police. It doesn’t seem too much to ask of our media. Or is it? Watch a recent example reported in the media which seemed to be more about pushing a narrative – and then see the shocking response of the NZ Media Council to a complaint.
