McBLOG: Academics feeling muzzled – Survey


Academics don’t feel free to air controversial opinions, according to a survey of academics by the Free Speech Union. Three of the taboo subjects were – not surprisingly – gender ideology, the Treaty of Waitangi and climate change. Academic freedom appears to ‘be on life support’ in our halls of learning.
