McBlog: Greens Go From “Worse To Worser”

You would think that the Greens might be a little more careful about their candidates – given their history with Kerekere, Golriz, Darleen, Tamatha & Benjamin – and perhaps think about looking a little more diverse – and normal. Dream on. Things have just got… er… worser.

Greens Go From Worse To Worser

You’ve gotta feel sorry for them. The Green Party have had it tough.

They had to get rid of Elizabeth Kerekere due to allegations of bullying, which was ironic – given that she always championed Pink Shirt Day which was supposed to be against bullying.

Then co-leader James Shaw packed it in because he’s into the environment, but the Greens are now into wokeness, virtue signalling and identity politics. And James is cis white male. Goneburger.

Then it was lawyer Golriz Gharaman who didn’t realise that when you go shopping, not paying for stuff is actually a crime. She was just buying a scarf for this charming protest tho

And finally it was Darleen Tana. She’d only been an MP a year! But Darleen Tana – who is no longer welcome in the party of diversity equity and inclusion – was super inclusive.  No. She is a they / them. You’ll never walk alone.

“My pronouns are they / them. I never walk alone.”

But – then – and I think this may be the real reason she was voted out of the Greens, she went back to biology.

… her pronouns are again she/her

Although the Green’s Pasifika leadership were not happy with the treatment of Darleen Tana. Yes – claims of racism!

And then we had the Minister of Anger Management Julie Anne Genter

And then we had Pastor Steve. Green MP Steve Abel – who somehow managed to butcher the story of creation into a political statement

Don’t tell Steve who really owns it all eh

Then it was Tamatha Paul who wants to defund the police

And argues that we don’t want cops on the street protecting people from crime – it makes people less safe… apparently

And told porkies about who goes to prison, and other porkies

Green Party MP Kahurangi Carter said that people feel safer with a gang member than with the polcie

And then Chloe decided to step up and apply for the role of Minister of Finance in a Labour / Greens / TPM coalition. It didn’t go well – cause you’ve gotta know stuff. And Chloe doesn’t.

Then, just when you thought it couldn’t get worse, this happened. Benjamin Doyle arrived. “It’s my great honour and privilege to be the first non binary person in Parliament” he says.

Benjamin Doyle used they / he / ia pronouns (although that has now been updated to they / them / ia – but who’s counting!) & describes himself as takatāpui and whaikaha (disabled).

Most concerningly Mr Doyle previously worked at the Burnett (AIDs) Foundation. Yes – THAT offensive whacky Foundation that you want to protect your children from.

Remember Benjamin’s maiden speech. Now when he first appeared I actually thought Boy George the singer had become an MP. Gone are the suits and ties and professional businesswear in Parliament eh.

And of course he’s surrounded by the Hamas Supporters Group – the Green caucus. Just don’t tell the Greens what the Palestinians think of LGBT stuff eh.

Then it was time for the intersectionality and victimhood. And the dance routine by the MP sitting down next to him.

I am proud to be takatāpui—queer; non-binary, which means that my gender is expansive and fluid, not muzzled by the strict confines of a suffocating binary. If my pronouns confuse you, here’s a tip: just use my name. If the way I dress causes you concern, I say to you: be more concerned by the contents of my mind than that of my wardrobe.

Yes we were concerned about the contents of your mind.

But apparently it had nothing to do with the fact that his ideology was dangerous, that his social media postings were both offensive and weird, that he has done nothing in Parliament except call for puberty blockers and radical RSE. No – of course not. He’s the victim.

After all of this, you would think that the Greens might be a little more careful about their next candidates, and about looking a little more diverse – and normal.

Dream on.

Things have just got worser.

For three reasons.

Firstly, the Green party list just came out.

The cis white male MPs in the Green Party have rightly been demoted on the party list. Diversity only goes so far eh. Be reasonable.

Steve Abel 9th to 12th. Might sneak in. Scott Willis (12th to 15th) & Mike Davidson (19th to 20th) rightly out of contention – until another batch of MPs leave under controversy, of course…

But they’re rightly down the list because…. well, they’re responsible for all the violence in the Green Party caucus room

Then there was their next candidate announcement

A biological male who tells you he’s a woman, and is annoyed that NZ First have a bill that talks about biology.  His fight for the climate distracted from, then dovetailed with, their gender dilemma.

Lauren is 23rd on the Green Party list – so fingers crossed that their vote stays below the double figure mark

3. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, they announced another candidate –

From the NZ Herald report

The Green Party candidate for Māngere has been criticised by Act for a now-deleted social media post making light of the death of right-wing speaker Charlie Kirk. Michel Mulipola’s post, published in September 2025 after Kirk’s death, depicted a video with text reading “Charlie Kirk died as he lived”, followed by a cartoon image of a bleeding neck, captioned “talkin’ out the side of his neck”. The caption stated: “I’m not obligated to respect someone who wrapped their bigotry, racism, White supremacy, queerphobia, misogyny et al”. The post was deleted after Newstalk ZB sent a media request to the Greens.

It also talked about “the countless hatemongering Charlie Kirk whipped up in conservative right-wing Christian nationalists.”

This guy has all the labels. He’s really triggered.

Here he edited a video in which Israel shoots a small child. This is just a small example of his bias against the Jewish nation – more in thread.

Here we have Michael Mulipola mocking Mia Schem, a victim of Hamas who was kidnapped sharing her testimony.

And calls for the elimination of Israel “from the river to the sea” on behalf of Samoans.

Wonder what Samoans really think.

Calling David Seymour and Winston Peters “colonesians”

Some more images of David Seymour

And Minister of Health Simeon Brown – he really hates white people eh

He calls the Police pigs

Here’s a post from last month where he posted a video showing him ripping the New Zealand flag in half – which is actually illegal, and accompanied by song entitled “Invaders must die”

But according to Marama – he’s the victim

EVERYONE is the victim in the Green Party.

So the Greens are defending all of this – because it’s normal for them. Just no-one else in New Zealand. And the Greens leadership are digging deep

You’ll note that 1News briefly touched on all of this – but you know, it’s a Green candidate – so all good. Imagine – just imagine – if a NZ First or National candidate had been posting like this. And you’ll notice that 1News don’t deal with perhaps his worst post which is the mocking of the assassination of Charlie Kirk

So, the Greens have quite the line-up, don’t they.

Good luck to Labour leader Chris Hipkins managing that lot.

Ironically the Greens apparently discriminated against prostitutes being candidates – according to a prostitutes group. Was she white?

Sex worker advocacy group Fired Up Stilettos’ chairperson Bianca Beebe was not selected this year, with the group in a statement claiming the vetting process fixated on her former job, and that she was told it posed a reputational risk to the party.

Yeah – I don’t think it would be a reputational risk to the Greens. I think it would fit in perfectly.

The Greens have gone from worse to worser.

If that’s possible.
