He then talks about the wonderful recovery of 25 week year old baby Ada, who was born 854 grams. Simon then turns his attention overseas, noting the focus now coming onto US basketball star, Sophie Cunningham, for speaking up boldly and clearly in defence of girls sport. He also discusses the awful Islamic terrorist attack in Berlin, noting how many political and media figures cannot bring themselves to admit who and what is behind the attack. Simon also warns against calls here in New Zealand to create blasphemy laws. The show wraps up with a discussion of a recent court decision around gang patches, with Simon pointing out how a judge has gone beyond their remit and overriding a decision the Parliament has clearly made.
