We have known for some time that the Green Party has a ridiculous approach to law and order, and last week, Tamatha Paul once again demonstrated why the Greens should be kept well away from political decisions that affect our criminal justice system. TOP has been on the rise recently and has started backtracking on some of its policies around justice—which is actually a good thing, considering how foolish some of those policies were. However, they are still a party worth keeping an eye on in the months ahead.
