During the marriage redefinition debate in 2013, we argued that if marriage is redefined once, what is to stop it being redefined again? Allowing only same-sex marriage on the basis of love and human rights would then open the door for those arguing for polygamous and group marriage. Why would ‘discrimination’ against these loving adults be okay? At the weekend the Herald on Sunday proved our point right with a very long exposé entitled “The truth about life in a throuple: ‘You can love more than one person’”. They even argue that threesomes could be a cure for infidelity!
