1. A recent report out of Canadian think-tank Cardus shows that Canada has the fastest growing assisted dying program in the world.

The report speaks to the rise of euthanasia in Canada, noting the number of Canadians dying prematurely by “medical assistance in dying” or MAiD as it is called, has risen thirteenfold since legalisation.

In 2016, the number of people dying in this way was approximately 1,000 people. In 2022, 6 years later, the number had exploded to more than 13,000, and then in 2023, it was more than 15,000, an increase of more than 15% in just one year.

The median time between written request and death from MAID in 2022 was just eleven days.

The report raises concerns about the further removal of safeguards that have expanded the eligibility for MAID.

The report concludes that Canada’s euthanasia law, has normalized MAID as a routine way of dying and emphasises the need for accurate data collection and consistent reporting better to understand the reality and impact of MAiD in Canada.

2. Kamala Harris has cultivated a bubbly exterior as vice president, but before she followed Biden into the White House, (Photo) she developed a record for being tough on crime and weaponizing the law to silence her political opponents. This is one of the more disturbing parts of Kamala Harris’ legacy.

According to a summary in The Daily Signal

(Photo) David Daleiden (Dull-lyden) and the Center for Medical Progress released a slew of undercover sting videos showing Planned Parenthood staff admitting to selling aborted babies’ body parts for profit in 2014.

Kamala Harris, who received funding from Planned Parenthood during her 2016 Senate campaign, directed her office to search Daleiden’shome, seizing his video footage and preparing a legal case against him. Her successor as California attorney general,

Xavier Becerra (now secretary of Health and Human Services) filed 15 felony charges against Daleiden (Dull-lyden) and his center in 2017.

Planned Parenthood and others sued for damages, accusing Daleiden of conspiracy, eavesdropping, and other claims. A judge awarded $2.4 million in damages and more than $13 million in attorneys’ fees. The U.S. Supreme Court rejected Daleiden’s appeal, allowing most of the damages to stand.

Of course, President Biden didn’t criticise that Supreme Court judgement.

In May 2020, Daleiden sued Becerra and Harris, claiming Harris conspired with Planned Parenthood to violate his civil rights by prosecuting him for the undercover investigation. That case remains pending.

This case against David Daleiden was extraordinary, as no other media outlet engaged in undercover reporting has endured such charges. But it is also indicative of how seared Kamala’s conscience is.  To be radically pro- abortion is one thing, to actively hide the dark realities of Planned Parenthood and to silence those who would expose their murder and selling of unborn children, is a different type of evil.

3. 3. Here is another tragic victim of planned parenthood, Cristina Hineman is a 20-year-old woman who filed a lawsuit in the New York state Supreme Court against Planned Parenthood and others accusing them of “rushing” her into irreversible and disfiguring sex-change procedures.

She visited the Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood clinic in November 2021, and, after a 30-minute appointment that did not include examining her mental health history, she was prescribed testosterone as part of their so-called “gender-affirming care.”

In addition, according to the lawsuit, in 2022, Hineman was encouraged by the defendants to undergo an elective double mastectomy despite having no medical issues with her breasts. Which she ended up having it.

The lawsuit argues that Hineman’s mental and physical health worsened because of the actions of Planned Parenthood, Astor Services and Rockmore Plastic Surgery.

These issues have included post-traumatic stress disorder, chronic pain and severe scarring on her chest as a result of the surgery, and “sharp, shooting pains” in her clitoral area.

If this case is successful, it will affect the willingness of medical professionals to rush young people into harmful gender change procedures.

4. And in breaking news, the NHS (the National Health Service) in England has just announced that it is carrying out a review of adult gender dysphoria clinics with a remit to explore “broad concerns and issues” reported by “concerned clinicians” during the Cass review of gender identity services for under 18s.

Remember that the CASS review by pediatrician Dr. Hilary Cass which was published earlier this year said that, the evidence we do have for gender medicine is built on “shaky foundations,” “Puberty blockers should no longer be prescribed to children” and that “children who are referred to gender services present with high rates of abuse and neglect including sexual abuse and parental substance abuse.”

The British Medical Journal which carried the announcement said that concerns by clinicians reflect similar problems found with services for under 18s, including limited time for assessing patients, expectations that hormones would be prescribed, and lax consent procedures.

The review of adult clinics is expected to last two years.

Meanwhile, our government continues to stay silent on the issue while confused children are chemicalised, and families are attacked by this destructive gender ideology.

5.And finally, a group of peaceful protestors known as CitizenGo were arrested in Paris for demanding an apology from the International Olympic Committee for mocking Christianity during the opening ceremony and silencing Christian athletes from making public statement about their faith.

(Video bus CitizenGo) They had a bus emblazoned with a message to the IOC to “Stop Attacks on Christians” … it was a bus that was completely permitted on the streets of Paris and France.

(Video police) Within mere hours, the French police swooped in and arrested their team. They were stripped, searched, and denied access to personal lawyers and contact with family. They were detained – some even without food or water, and left in a hot and humid basement cell, until the early hours of the morning – all without any legal grounds!

We will monitor what happens as a result of this unlawful detainment.

Now, despite the blatant push back against Christianity, it was incredibly encouraging to see few athletes still acknowledging God for their athletic achievements publicly.
