On this episode of Solid Ground, Simon gives initial thoughts on the awful shooting of Charlie Kirk, a young father of two, and conservative voice in the United States. While speaking on a university campus Charlie was shot in the neck and as this episode went to air, he is in a critical condition in hospital. Simon simply reflects on the growing violence of the progressive left to silence their critics – a continuum of violence from shootings like this through to cancel culture.
